At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Date stamped December 7/24. With Gracie the cat...

This is really nice but unfortunately for Ace Hill there are other nice pilsners for $1.50 less per can.

It comes with the basic characteristics of a pilsner with thick, foamy head and clear gold color. Head recedes to thin line. Sweet overtones and a light bitter hop kick on the finish. Not my favourite finish. Medium carbonation. I didn't personally detect any distinct flavours o aroma though I agree grassy/grainy/cereal is probable the best description for aroma and taste. Light and crisp. I tried this while visiting Ottawa.

A pretty good pilsner. Basic and clean across the board, no off notes. Better than most common main stream macro offerings out there, but doesn't bust out as really remarkable either. I do appreciate the graininess of it though, proper hop finish.

No charge on Porter Airlines (although it was an international flight from Chicago to Toronto.)
And with no charge, then the surprise of having a simple, good beer makes the experience even better.
Clean, crisp lager and good packaging with the slug "Premium Simplicity." Ace Hill's Pilsner lives up to that motto.
I wish them well... even if I have to pay for the next one I get of theirs.

Enjoyed on a flight from YFC to YOW. Pours a pale gold with a fluffy two fingers of head. Smell is cereal malts and a hint of lemon. Taste is those malts coming through again, cereals and biscuit. There is also a light hops presence that rounds the beer out nicely. Feel is light and crisp.
I wasn't expecting much from this, but it delivered a bit more than anticipated. A decent pilsner that would be good for quaffing on a hot summer day.

473ml can
4.9% ABV
Real Canadian Superstore (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
September 15, 2017
$2.62
The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a generous foamy white head which receded faster than you can type out the letter ‘I’. The aroma was grainy malt and earthy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt with a bitter hop finish. This beer is not a bad beer, but it isn’t a good beer either.
