Really dark color, almost black, with a beige to tan foam in the the big Stout glass. Some aroma of dark grain. Watery body but malty taste. Very dark roasted flavors with more than a touch of sourish burnt malt in the finish. Hints of licorice. Overall, this is a friendly and unassuming brew, probaby stronger than it needs to be for the light body. From the 32 oz jug filled at the brewery tap. Thanks, Clayton!
