Blood Orange Wheat

one of their best beers, and we pretty much tried them all over a couple visits within a few days time, they do come cool stuff here, and this one screams high summery, a simple and fluffy feeling dry wheat beer with a ton of natural orange character to it, simplicity at its finest, low hops, clean ferment, just organic cereal character underneath floral orange, blossoming and zesty without being acidic or pithy or bitter, the proportions are awesome, the refinement is great, and it wins because the fruit profile is so natural, not forced or acidic at all, but present from start to finish and really the prime flavor agent of this. i love the balance, the essential oil and honey nuances in it from the orange, and the way the sweetness stays way in the background. this is refreshing on a hot day but also not confined to that realm, a four season beer they should definitely make a full timer in here if it isnt already. sometimes less can be more in this style, and this is definitely one of those times, tidy and minimal, softly floral and beautifully clean. carbonation isnt light but could still be turned up, but overall this is excellent. one of the better fruited wheat types ive encountered in awhile actually, and leagues better than most blood orange beers of any kind...
