session type done for the aquarium, a neat collaboration and a solid brew, more character on the grain side than a lot of these have which usually im not into, but this being in stark contrast to all the watered down session beers on the market right now is a welcome feature of this. its sort of english to me, a little english crystal or maris otter or something in this giving it some body and some malt balance against somewhat generic but nice and fresh citrus hops, its a good combination of hops and malt, and i think this could play in that english summer ale space if it wanted to, even without any real yeast character, a hybrid style anyway, well made, not too watered down. some minerals, some bread crusts, some pretzel dough, some grapefruit, light pine and even some weed character at the end, could be all or mostly mosaic hops, which pop the most to me right before the swallow. i like how low alcohol it is, the world needs more beers we can drink all day long, and i dont get bored easily with this one thanks to the grain presence. clean on the ferment and pretty fast finishing for what it is, smart beer, light but not too light, balanced, fairly well refined. something a little different in a style space that has really fallen off a cliff, and the can art is cool!
