Got a growler of this at the brewery yesterday, as growler fills on Sundays are only $5.00 at the brewery. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a clear, medium to dark copper/amber color with a just slightly tan/off-white head that's well over an inch thick when first poured. Settles eventually to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some spotty lacing here and there on the inside of the glass along with a big cluster swirl of surface foam that covers most of the beer's surface. Aromas of toasted, bready malts with some caramel sweetness and some fruit notes of dates and figs along with a bit of nuttiness. Also some citrus, floral hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with some toasted, bready malt notes along with some caramel sweetness and the presence of dates and figs that's followed by a nice citrus, floral hop bitterness. Very good balance of flavors here, especially as the beer sits and warms a bit. Has a mostly crisp, yet smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, slightly dry finish and aftertaste. A good beer here indeed.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
