A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short tan colored head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar of beige bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted marshmallows are present in the nose along with hints of vanilla.
T: This very sweet and has lots of flavors of toasted marshmallow with notes of vanilla bean.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a bit thin, but very slick and smooth on the palate with a low amount of carbonation.
O: This beer hides its alcohol very well but the amount of sweetness is a dead giveaway how strong it is.

Brewers of Sweden and Denmark, beware- there's a new kid on the flavor scene that's riding high on fruit, vanilla, cream and bitterness to give the American scene a taste that's as reckless as it is peculiar. Simply put, decadence oozes from this imperial IPA with the sultry dessert flavors of s'mores.
Double Toasted Marshmallow IPA pours a shockingly normal pale golden color of standard IPA. Its rich lather expels all of the usual suspects of tropical, citrus and herbal scents, but also with the character of vanilla, cream and toasted granola. Moderately sweet, the malty impressions are of honey and simple syrups along with convincing flavors of graham cracker and burnt sugars.
As the middle palate unfolds, the beer looses its toasted marshmallow character rather quickly. That's when the hops charge in with the kaleidoscope of flavor from Mosaic hops. Gooseberry, passionfruit, grapefruit, orange, lime, currant and papaya all play boldly on the tastebuds to offer a mild sherbet flare. Herbal in finish, the bitter taste comes with fresh grass clippings, fragrant woods, hay and hemp.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the cleverly hidden alcohols and the gripping hop resins apply a spicy bite to the throat while the taste of vanilla and cream simmer underneath. A savory after palate of toasted marshmallows bring a light nuttiness of cashew as the characteristics of s'mores resonates soundly in a medium long aftertaste.
