A: Beer poured a cloudy oranginsh yellow body without any real amount of head. Fair amount of carbonation bubbles present while drinking. Very simple yet classic example of a farmhouse beer.
S: Peaches were the first smell once the bottle was opened. Along with fruit smells the was also some funky yeast smells noticeable. The wine barrel aging comes out slightly here. The small amount of wine aromas mixes well with the usual farmhouse smells.
T: Wine has a bigger presence here than it did on the nose. The beer also has a slight acid sour taste to it. Fair amount of earthy malt flavors here as well. The presence of peaches takes a back seat to some of the other tastes.
M: Very dry finish even with the addition of the peach. Carbonation levels were good and crisp while drinking. The barrel aging gives the beer a more noticeable sour feel. Overall, fair mouthfeel but not as good as some of the other areas of the beer.
O: Would have liked to have seen the peaches have more characteristics on the taste end. Good amount of peach aromas but minimal flavors. Very clean dry tasting beer. The wine aging brings more sour elements than a typle beer of this style. Nice beer overall.
