Pours a hazy brown with a finger of honey-copper foamy head. Aroma is roasty and toasty malts with toffee, and caramel behind. There is tinge of heat on the back end. Flavor profile is toasty, nutty, caramely malts with toffee, molasses, and bread behind. Heat wells up on the back end, but never feels burdensome. Mouth feel is velvety, grainy and fuzzy with a medium-thick consistency. Overall, heat is kept to a minimal, while malts and sugary-flavors are allowed to sing. Good barleywine.

Poured a clear, copper color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of sweet caramel, toffee and floral notes. Very sweet tasting with caramel, toffee and butterscotch. Light bitterness.
