The hops used in this batch were Azacca. I don't know much about this variety of hops but this beer has a soapiness to it, that I am not a big fan of. Doc Ivory has rich near clear golden honey color that is done very well.

Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of pine, toasted caramel and citrus. Sweet citrus flavor with orange & pineapple, toasted caramel and bitter resiny pine notes.
