Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a nonic pint glass.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. One finger of long lasting white foamy head. Leaves behind a bubbly film of lacing.
Aroma of citrus - orange and citrus, and pine.
Taste is sweet and bitter citrus, plus an infusion of bitter pine juice. Also a little melon and a touch of mint.
Medium mouthfeel. Some palate destruction from the bitterness. Very good carbonation.
Strongly hopped, and the balance tends to more bitter than sweet.

Growler. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of grapefruit, pineapple, orange and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruitiness with a lot of grapefruit presence. Nice toasted caramel backbone and bitter bite.
