Jet black, opaque, with a brown creamy head. Aroma/flavor is sweet roasty malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, and burnt sugar. Substantial body and warm alcohol. The finish is moderately dry with lingering roasty malt with hints of dark fruit.

10oz snifter at the brewery. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled smoky with roasted malt, chocolate, toffee and molasses. Nice smoky taste with roasted coffee, toasted malt and sweet toffee.
