64oz growler from the brewery. Poured out an opaque, black hue with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pine, roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. Strong roasted malt taste with chocolate, toffee and a sharp, piney bitterness.
