Honestly, I'm a sucker for a great IPA. I loved everything about this beer, at 91 IBU and 8.3% ABV (although the owners told me it turned out at 7.8% the first batch), it's a pretty big beer, but wow, is it balanced. A great malt body that balances the citrus and grapefruit aromas that you get on your first sip. It's complex with a lot of depth and character, and the hops linger the perfect amount. I was definitely tasting some citra in there, not a huge surprise, but hey, it's delicious. The beer itself has a clear dark orange-y look with great lacing. Doesn't get much better than this. Make the trip.

Directly at the source on their first day open.
Great lacing above an orange body. Lots of candied hops and a long lasting feel that is green a bit. A bit too malty for my taste but has great potential.
