I love this beer! A pretty balanced, not too strong taste for a stout beer. It tastes like coffee and dark chocolate.
Had the chance to talk to the brewers of this beer. Good news for caffeine sensitive people: this beer that tastes like coffee actually contains ZERO caffeine. Those people are really passionnate about their product.

A: poured from the 500mL can into a tulip glass. The beer is a pure black color, even when held to the light. The head was very thin, creamy and dark tan and dissipated after less than a minute.
S: Dark chocolate, brown sugar, roasted coffee, slight leather and tobacco. Classic aroma, but not too overpowering. Cannot smell the alcohol in this one.
T: Smoky character and dark chocolate with black coffee. Slight balancing sweetness to go along with the big bitterness factor. Alcohol is slightly noticeable in the back but covered up well with the big roasty malt character.
Overall: This is a big strong beer, but the taste lacks a lot of the complexity in other imperial stouts. Still a satisfying drink, but it won't become my go-to.

Opaque black color. Light creamy brown 1 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, poor legs and average swirl reaction. Flavors of dark barley, dark berries, oatmeal, walnuts, coffee, and herbal hops. Soft creamy and silky medium body with prickly carbonation. Medium to strong strength strength finish, deep roasted and malty with a moderate leafy feel. Decent freshness from high carbonation. Not much fruity nor chocolate notes but rich and still pleasant. Well balanced and intensified for an imperial, yet lacks the barrel and fruity profile. Overall high quality craft.
