Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a cloudy, bright orange color with a thin, bright white cap and clinging lacing. The smell is a bit subdued with subtle citrus and floral hops. Its taste opens primarily malty with balancing sweet tangerine, honeydew melon, and a hint of strawberry at mid-sip. The Huell Melon hops complement the Mosaic quite well. It's fruity but mellow with only slight bitterness at the finish. This ale has a moderately thick and creamy mouth feel with an appropriate level of carbonation and the 7.4% ABV seems just right. Overall, Skootch is a flavorful, refreshing, and thoroughly enjoyable DIPA.

16 oz can - no date that is legible - there was something printed on the bottom but its illegible.
pours a hazy dark orange golden color, very thick head. excellent head retention and lacing. aroma isn't overly strong - just nice pleasant fruity hops - orange, berry, melon, kiwi notes. similar taste, starts a bit sweet but there is some finishing bitterness to balance it out. medium bodied, slick mouthfeel.
address on label indicates it was brewed at Weyerbacher's facility

Canned on 7/9/19.
A - Opaque dark orange color with thin, sticky off white/cream colored lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
S - Resiny melon and strawberry aroma dominate the nose with just a hint of malt.
T - Strawberry and melon hit up front and swirl around the palate ending with a bittersweet finish that lingers all the while with strawberry/melon swirling over top of the bitterness.
M - Heavy, thick, and chewy.
O - A very interesting hop and a very interesting beer that's nicely done. Recommended.
