German-Style Doppelbock Lager. Sam lives off of, only, this beer and water for an entire week during Lent. That's gotta count for something. This is the first year that this beer is water, malt, hops, and yeast. Lenten Fasting Beer.

Pours a clear dark copper color, bright white head. Toasted malt aroma, but a little earthy. Similar taste but not overly sweet, grainy finish. Medium bodied.

A - Beautiful dark gold pour with moderately dense white creamy lacing.
S - Nice earthy malt.
T - Nice subtle honey malt sweetness with earthy citrus and some floral over top. Perfectly balanced finish.
M - Big medium body with gentle, prickly carbonation.
O - This is a good one!
