A little haze to the golden brew, but no excess yeast. Good to the last pour from the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery. Faint lemony and funky aroma, but quite pleasant. The flowery note seems to expand as you sip. Sudsy mouthfeel and nicely carbonated. Light body.
Lemony hints in the flavor, light malt taste. There's a slight bitter aftertaste, and the brewers claim 24 IBU, but I wouldn't call it hoppy. Clean and flavorful and a good example of the American style lighter Saison. Or is that a "Farmhouse ale"? In any case, thoroughly drinkable and a very likeable beer from a new brewery.
