A twelve ounce draft pour purchased at the brewery on 02/15/20. Served in their signature snulip glass.
The pour is a flat looking slightly murky rust color with a thin ring of white foam around the glass. Smell is a slightly sweet/sour with bourbon. Taste is sweet with toffee, bourbon, dark cherry and a little oak in the finish. It reminds me of an Old Fashioned. The feel is very thin and dry.
A pleasant barrel aged sipper in a style one normally doesn't come across. They do some good things here that are off the beaten path in today's beer world of 'sameness' and this is another example. I applaud them for that.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
