Coffee Spinechiller was aged in freshly emptied Bourbon barrels from one of our favorite Colorado distillers, then rested on organic Driftless blend coffee beans from Wonderstate Coffee.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25
Appearance: Arrives coffee colored with one finger head that fades to a collar: spotty lacing

Smell: Chocolate, roasted malt and Bourbon tones

Taste: Chocolate forward with roasted flavors developing; the Bourbon emerges in the middle, bringing some oak; the coffee arrives late, but leaves an impression in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: So today I had an Imperial Stout that tasted like an RIS and this RIS that tastes like an Impy Stout; this is good but begs to be brewed with a higher ABV and thicker mouthfeel
