On tap at Old Chicago in Roseville, MN. 22 oz. serving.
Appearance: Color is a cloudy yellowish orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of white head with good retention.
Smell: A spicy and juicy Belgian style aroma with hints of citrus fruit and spice. Belgian yeast with hints of coriander, white pepper, and slight clove. Zesty hints of citrus fruit with some orange, lemon, pineapple, tangerine, and papaya. Bready hints of wheat, grains, straw, and cracker. A pretty nice smell.
Taste: Like it smells, a nicely crisp, juicy, and spicy Belgian style taste with notes of citrus fruit and spices. Belgian yeast with spice notes of coriander, white pepper, and clove. Citrus fruit notes of orange, lemon zest, tangerine, papaya, and pineapple. Soft bready notes of wheat, straw, grains, and cracker. A pretty solid crisp taste.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation. Crisp, juicy, and very smooth.
Overall: A pretty solid take on a Belgian Wit. Nice crisp taste of fruit and Belgian style spice.
