L: hazy orange permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 2" off-white to cream foam cap with good retention

S: Belgian yeast floral and spicy orange zest aromas supported by a whiff of graham cracker malt

T: starts mildly sweet with an initially intense orange flavor and then Belgian yeast, graham cracker malt, biscuit, and floral hop flavors provide some balance along with a moderate hop bitterness

F: body is medium and the carbonation is medium high

O: a flavorful, well balanced, easy to drink Belgian pale Ale

Belgian Style Pale Ale pours a copper color, with a nice big, long lasting and lacing head. Aroma is sweet, earthy, hints of flowers. Flavor is first very sweet, lots of honey and flower notes, with a bitter finish. Good body and feel. Overall, not a bad beer, flavors don't mesh the best.

Earthy brew that is very hoppy. A very flavorful pale ale. Not much graham cracker flavor like is advertised but still refreshing and flavorful without being overly hoppy.

Spicey and earthy aroma. Tall off-white head, fading fairly quickly, leaving some lacing. Deep amber color, lots of tiny bubbles. Definite Belgian-like initial taste, malty, spicey, a bit of orange. Moderate body. Earthy and very slightly bitter in the finish. Plenty of flavors in the malt body, slightly sweet, but balanced well with the bittering. Presents as heavier than I would have expected from the description, ABV, etc. Very nice fall beer when you want something lighter than the coming winter beers but heavier than the summer beers.

This has been out for 2 months and only 5 ratings? That's curious.
It's taken a few of these to wrap my head around it. The heaviness of the pale ale makes it different from a Belgian IPA. There is hopping here, but the assault of the Belgian yeast flavors dominates. I think it prevents blending. It's a little too intense and this is from a guy who has a special fondness for Belgian yeast. The hops flavors are a good choice and there is a fullness from the malt, making it interesting enough. Some orange flavor.
This is a nice looking beer. Nice dense white head with decent stamina. Orangish amber and slightly cloudy.
Nice fuller body. Bits of sweetness with some fruitiness. Yeast has spice mostly. Some dryness.
I wanted to like it more than I did, but it's not bad.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a Summit pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin creamy patch.

Smell: A toasty and floral malt forward aroma with a scent of spices and cracker. Belgian yeast with some hints of clove and pepper. Other spice hints of rye and lavender. Malt scent of caramel, toast, cracker, and biscuit. Good hints of earthy hops along with some orange zest. A pretty nice aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, an earthy and toasty malt driven taste with notes of cracker and spices. Belgian yeast with some notes of clove and pepper along with some rye and lavender spice. Malt notes of caramel, toast, crackers, and biscuit. Earthy and floral hop notes. Also some citrus notes of orange zest. A very solid taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Crisp and pretty smooth.

Overall: A very solid Pale Ale. Nice mix of spices and cracker malt notes.

Pours a clear amber with a finger of white head. Good retention and not much lacing. Smells mostly of Belgian yeasts and orange with a bit of spiciness. I taste a lot of orange, with spices, breadiness and a strong malt presence. It's sweet, but has a bitter finish. This is medium-bodied and a little too fizzy for my liking. Another solid release from Summit

Pours a clear amber color with two fingers of quickly settling head. A little bit of spotty lacing is left down the glass. Smells a lot like a saison. Summit claims a Belgian ale yeast was used and not a saison yeast. A little bit of phenols makes it self known in the aroma to go along with yeast esters. Must of fermented this at a higher temperature. The flavor is dominated by yeast flavors as well. Other flavors of citrus but unfortunately that is countered by cardboard phenolic flavor. Light body and nicely carbonated.
