Our Union Series 6: Imperial Russian Stout. Billed as the first beer in a series of barrel-aged releases available only at Dark Horse Bar & Eatery (St. Paul, MN), this one’s been soaking up American oak and Jamaican rum notes for 90 days. It went in at 10.5% ABV, and we expect it to come out at 11.5% with notes dark fruit, roasted malt, and a hint of mocha coffee, as well as rum.
