Low in alcohol, lightly hopped and high in carbonation and drinkability, Summit Cabin Crusher is a traditional Kölsch-style ale spiked with fresh lime peel and puree, plus lemon-lime citrus-forward hops from the U.S., including Lemon Drop and Loral varieties. Balanced by malt flavors and aromas of honey, biscuit and toast, the end result is a crisp, thirst-quenching ale perfect for hot days in Cabin Country. Slightly hazy in appearance, floral notes lead to huge citrus rind aromas of lemon and lime.

From tap:

Pours a nice, orange colour with a head that goes down quickly. Taste made me pucker up right away, but settled into a nice yeasty finish with some orange.

16oz can enjoy by 6/21/23 into a Kolsch glass.
L: Pours straw pale yellow gold w a 1" puffy white head w excellent retention to last drink, well carbonated, random thick lacing w broken banding.
S: Light sweet cracker malts, lime, background fruit, light yeast. Simple.
T: Gently fruity, light lime, crackery biscuit malts, yeast, lightly earthy.
F: Smooth, creamy med-light bodied w a fast moderately drying finish. Quenching. Not overly dry.
O: A delicious tasting and very EZ drinking beer that is indeed crushable. Quite smooth feeling and isn't stuffed with lime flavor. Great malt flavor here. It is very good in its style.

12oz can

Unfiltered, Almost no smell besides a little bit of limeonade. Unfortunately I enjoyed this one even less than the lemon variant, which was just okay. Grocery store lime juice overpowering a tiny thin layer of skunky tallboy complete with spoiled grain. Basically a beer for people who don't enjoy beer

Not a fan of this one, if you can tell

Cabin Crusher pours a hazy golden color, with a small, but long lasting, and lacing head. Mild aroma, but nice hints of lime. Flavor is creamy, nice crisp malty notes, with a subtle lime flavor to end it. Good body and flavor. Overall, its a lighter beer, but has some great flavors, love the lime notes, nothing is overpowering. Well built and very enjoyable.

On tap at the Red Paddle on the Gunflint. Poured a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of lime, caramel and floral notes. It tasted of lime, toasted caramel and a slight bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy, pale yellow color with a peach look to it. Very peachy on the appearance: A small white head that fades. SRM of 8. (3.75)

Aroma: Light on the aroma. Lemon/lime, yeast, and grains. Not much else. (3.50)

Flavor: Strong lime flavors. Like a Margarita. Some yeast, pepper, and grain to back it up. Finishes dry, tart, and flavored with mostly lime. (3.50)

Feel: Light-bodied. Yeast on the mouthfeel which is nice. (4.00)

Compared to Cabin Crusher with Lemon 7/2/21: Pours an identical color. Similar aromas. More biting lime on the flavor. More astringent. Winner: Lemon

Overall: Not sure what this beer is supposed to be. A Kolsch should be brewed according to the German purity law and adding a dominating lime flavor completely changes the beer. Not a fan of the lime flavor either. Many people will like this light, American citrusy beer. I cannot say I am a fan. (Final Rating: 3.52)

Pours a hazy-straw with a thin, white, soapy head. Good carbonation.
Smells of lime and biscuit.
Great combination of hop, malt and lime. The finish left is wonderful.

Pours a clear light yellow with plenty of white head, falls away quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma is lime. Flavor is biscuits and lime (overpowering). Feel is fantastic, light and crisp, well carbonated. Overall a refreshing beer with too much lime.

Can. Straw golden color. White head with some spotted lace.

Lime and citrus. Really, simple, but a nice summer beer. Refreshing. Bready/biscuity malts. Earthy, crisp, clean.
