Triumphant is a low-calorie, low-carb beer clocking in at 95 calories, 3.5g of carbs and 4% ABV per 12oz serving. With tropical notes of pineapple, grapefruit and apricot and balanced bitterness, this brew has all taste of a traditional IPA with a fraction of the ABV. Flavors of bread-crust and sweet citrus lead to a clean, bitter finish. It is the Beer for the Triumphant.

12oz can. Bottom best by stamp is 'EB 10/20/24'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Two fingers of white head upon pouring retreat back to an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind irregular lacing rings.
Aroma is grapefruit and white bread.
Taste has a toasted malt base with hop flavors of grapefruit and apricot. Turns minorly bitter at the end and into the aftertaste.
Thinner mouthfeel. Has a metallic note. Good carbonation.
Compromise brew to reduce carb ingestion. Overall a thin experience.

L-Golden color...minimal head
S-Bright citrus, a touch of tropical fruits and also some floral notes
T-Love the hop flavor here. Bright citrus...tangerines, and mandarin oranges...also a bit of pine and some light tropical papaya. Light cracker like maltiness...touch of breads as well. Balanced flavor but the hops do shine.
F-For a regular IPA it is thin but for the sessionable style it is fine. Not a strong point but I've been drinking a lot of full IPA's lately...I bet if I'd have done this rating during Keto when drinking light beers it would have pleased me more.
O-One of the best low cal IPA's out there. One of my "go to" beers when doing Keto.

12oz can best by date 10/14/21 into a 16oz pint glass.
L: Pours a clear gold, medium carbonation, soapy white 1.5" head that becomes thin with edge retention. Minimal lacing.
S: Orange, pineapple, sweetbread.
T: Dried fruits, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot. Lightly grassy and light bread malt. It has a slightly light medium long resinous finish.
F: A bit of a juicy mouthfeel, light bodied, crisp, clean, semi-dry with a medium fast finish. Light bitterness lingers.
O: A very pleasant tasting well balanced and easy drinking low calorie low carb low ABV IPA. It dwells in the zone where IPAs and Pale Ales intermingle as one. It is an excellent alternative to standard IPAs and is truly a session IPA. Very good!

Pours a crystal clear gold with a continuous stream of "champagne" bubbles. Wispy white head, some spotty lacing, Aroma is mild, citrus and pine. Flavor follows the nose. Feel is light bodied, well carbonated. Overall a pretty good beer considering the 4% ABV. I've had several "session" IPA"s without any flavor, this isn't one of them.

Triumphant pours a copper color, with a large, long lasting and lacing head. Aroma is light, with a bit of a floral hop note. Flavor is light, and a bit lackluster. Nice mellow bitterness, a very light floral hop flavor. Good body and feel. Overall, not bad, light, but nice hop flavors.

12oz can from Trader Joe's
Lots of small floating particulates, which is cool. Smells like a muted Summit Saga. Taste is hop seltzer mixed with barley tea - very light but with a strong citrus bite, barely sweet, thin, well carbonated... Very noticeably 4% in feel. Gave me wicked heartburn
It's more than decent if you want to experience a solid pale ale while being on a diet, or you're sessioning all day... or buying beer at the grocery store (max of 4% ABV sold here in MN)
