This new limited edition brew is Summit’s first-ever packaged gose-style ale. This refreshing style is known for its smooth, malt body; zesty, salty flavors and light, effervescent finish. Our version also is brewed with experimental agents to add extra tang and a brand new hop variety, Adeena, for a unique floral and spicy hop note. It’s a perfectly balanced beverage for relaxing, summer evenings.

12oz can. Bottom stamp reads 'EB 10/14/24'.
Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored body. One thick finger of white head and this sticks around as a thin cap and high ring. Leaves behind lacing webs.
Aroma is sweet malt, lemon/lime citrus, and floral hops.
Taste is accentuated by the layer of salt on everything. Flavors of toasted bread malt, lemon, lime, and grassy notes. Long tapering fade in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Crisp and clean, and salt dryness. Very good carbonation.
Good for dealing with hot summer days.

Pours cloudy bright yellow with a thick white head that falls away quickly leaving spotty lacing. Aroma is faint, lime and biscuit. Flavor follows the nose, a touch salty. Feel is light and well carbonated. Overall, a fine summer beer.

Very hazy. Smell and taste is lime, wheat, flowers and salt. Weird, but the taste isn't overwhelming, it's incredibly easy to drink. For the style this is solid, perfect for the Summer months and maybe the best Gose I've had, but I still wouldn't buy again

12oz can enjoy by date 9/24/22 into a pint glass.
L: Pours light straw yeast hazed radiant yellow/light gold w/a fluffy 2" white head w/good retention, well carbonated, skeletal lacing with some banding.
S: Lime, white bread, light caramel, a suggestion of green apple.
T: Yeast, hard bread crust, subtle salted lime, slightly pale, subtle tartness.
F: Pale, clean med-bodied mouthfeel w/a semi-dry fast finish.
O: A great summer refresher with a lightly tart and citrus zest appeal. Very smooth and easy drinking. It is very good if not excellent in it's style.

I got this tasty Gose in the "Dockside" Mixed pack at Costco. I rate it right up there with "Slugfest" as a very good Summit offering.

12oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of lemon, green apple, caramel and some toffee. Nice tart lemon and green apple taste with salt and some caramel.

Hazy pale yellow, moderate carbonation, topped with a tall stark white head from a semi-gentle : semi-vigorous pour (see above). The head recedes at a moderate pace, developing airy voids and an uneven surface. Nice-looking lacing.
The aroma is a tart lime, some bread, some spice. After going back and re-reading the brewer’s description, and after a few sips, I do detect some floral notes, at least subliminally.
The initial taste is smooth and bready with a touch of salt. The lime begins in the middle and carries through to the aftertaste, but it is as subtle as tart line can be expected to be. The middle flavors blend well with the bread, salty lime, very slightly tart and a touch of spice. At the half-way point, and even more toward the end, as the beer warms a bit, the saltiness becomes obvious, and the tart lime is also at least a bit more apparent.
This is a very tasty and refreshing beer, but I was anticipating a gose to have a bit more tartness.
The mouth feel is very smooth and creamy, good carbonation feel.
Overall, enjoyable, well-done, and refreshing, if a bit timid on the tartness.
