Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a sly rustic looking copper color with a glossy white cap of foamy head. Trickles nicely with the lace, somewhat messy. The aroma had some floral to grassy notes with a touch of piney bitterness coming out. Clean malt base underneath. The flavor leads with a nicely done full bittersweetness hitting my tastebuds exactly how one would want it. Fully blended hops to malts aftertaste, clean and crisp. Quick semi-dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt as intended by the brewer. Overall, very good APA that I would love to have again.
