Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy orange to copper color with a nice looking level finger’s worth of white foamy head. Lace appears stringy and settled after the head fell off. The aroma had some sweet to bitter grassy and a citrusy zestiness, fairly bold and up front. Crisp with a little sweet pear to it. The flavor leads with citrusy sweetness, some pear comes in to nicely and then the citrusy zestiness comes in close to the backdrop. Fairly innocent in the zest in the aftertaste, still, it’s all about the sweetness of a grassy-like to pear blend. Quick wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine. Overall, nicely done DIPA by these guys well worthy of having again.
