The appearance was a burnt copper/orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated evenly leaving some messy lace. The aroma started off with a bright citrusy pulpy and bitter rind quality bursting forth on into a balanced malt base. The flavor seems to balance the hops and malts well ensuing a nice crisp citrusy aftertaste and crisp finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, nicely done DIPA that I would have again if they brought it back.
