Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout
An Imperial Stout like no other. Dark Daze was brewed in late 2016 and placed into a rye whiskey barrel to age. In August of 2017 we brewed it again, and blended the two to formulate the unique ale in this bottle.The deep rich flavor of this complex stout will keep you warm during our dark winter days.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch tan head over a dark brown body with some lacing. Nose of dark chocolate, oak, and some coffee. Taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla, oak, and whiskey. Nice feel and overall, a fine offering from the boys of Hyde Park. Cheers!
