Pours a cloudy yellow hued straw; an awesome haze, not murky just nice and cloudy. White head with decent retention, each sip yields islands of lace where the sip went down. Nice looking beer.
The aroma is incredibly refreshing to me; there is a combination of lime like citrus, and a sweet spruceyness to it. As it warms some more fruitiness comes out in a melon like sort of way.
Taste leans into the lime citrus and spruce heavily, with some light wheat or oat.
Super refreshing to drink; light body, it is soft but has this awesome hop bite on the finish in the form of a resiny grassy bitterness. It also drinks incredibly clean with a pretty dryness on the end. Carbonation is very smooth too.
If you want a hazy ipa with nods to the past get this beer. It is very very good.
