I rarely give 5-star reviews to pils/pilsners not brewed in Czechia. Many pseudo pilsners are poorly made. This one is worthy though.
Found just one can on a shelf in a store and just had to give it a try. Ten Bends is a decent brewery and I remember liking their brews. Although their other pilsner was not quite as good, more along the lines of a boring German Pils style beer.
Immediately inhaled the aroma strait from the can and oh boy! It's just right, pure pale lager / plisner magic.
The color is a beautiful rich straw gold, just a touch hazy like a somewhat unfiltered lager.
The taste is where it's at. Quite possibly better than some actual Czech pale lagers! I know I know, this may be a stretch. But I am a beer artist, this is how I see it.
Will try to hunt down some more.
