Citrus Tart is a super-refreshing beer. Soured during the brewing process, then we add fresh lemon and lime juices for flavour and to kick the tartness into hyperdrive. Pucker up and strap yourself in – this is citrus overload.

440 ml can, from the brewery webshop. ABV is 4.5%. Sligtly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma of lemons. Sour flavour of lemons. Not much complexity here, but nice enough to drink.

330ml Can from Lidl supermarket (£1.49):
A slightly watery, golden-amber with a half centimetre, bubbly white head that fades to a tiny lacing around the circumference after a few seconds. The nose is as you'd expect given the name, there's a good helping of citrus & tart but its mainly the lemon that shows. I got some funky notes & hints of grape too on what was quite a sharp but light nose. The citrus & funk carries on to the taste with some tangy flavours & a little sourness but it's nothing too strong, a few pale malts balancing things out nicely. It's definitely an accessible sour beer that’s not too strong, it is sharp though & comes through with moderate carbonation & is easy enough to drink without being one go out of your way to pick up.
