Poured from a can into a pint glass. Golden yellow color with a decent initial head but almost no lacing. Bright, refreshing blueberry smell. Unfortunately, this did not translate to the taste. The blueberry flavor is there but it is a bit dull and seems to have an unwanted chocolate flavor. Not something I will seek out.

12 oz. can poured into vertical tulip
(4/20/18 canned-on date printed on bottom of can)
L: brilliantly clear gold topped with 1/3-inch tall head of offwhite/beige foam; even with a little debris getting into the glass, the beer is still very clear, and the gold runs into reddish copper in the middle of the glass; minimal sticking/lacing, keeps a sharply defined and thick collar of white foam ... pretty beer
S: muted grain, hint of fruit peel ice cold; as it warms, blueberry takes over ... subtle at first then growing and growing into a fuller aroma that's sweet, even into blueberry pie or blueberry candy, but it's never overpowering ... a truly deft touch, smells like a big bowl of fresh blueberries
T: earthy fruit peel, almost medicinal with a lingering menthol-like aftertaste that numbs the tongue; as it warms, the blueberries seem to be lining up behind the wall of earthy/alcohol flavor, but they're having trouble breaking through; about halfway into the glass the blueberry flavor still hasn't broken through but it's doing enough to balance that initial earthy/medicinal aftertaste, and the overall effect is a nice mix of authentic beer-plus-real fruit flavor with all the flavors being midstrength at most; the last half of the glass is growing and growing and growing in blueberry flavor ... again, the fruit keeping the alcohol flavor from growing unruly
F: almost midweight and super crisp; definitely not a light lager ... there's some depth here
O: fantastic attempt by Stesti to deliver an authentic-feeling fruit beer; the aroma opens up into other-worldly range for this blueberry lover, and while the flavor doesn't, the fact that it tastes much more like beer than blueberry soda is perfect; I bought a six-pack and plan to buy at least one more — my bet is it won't age that well, but it's good enough fresh to find out
