this is one of the best beers these guys are making in here. i havent seen a lot of brewers play much with this style, but the dry hop addition is awesome, it adds a cool citrusy fruitiness to a neat already fruity yeast profile of banana and white grape, and in the finish, the hops almost take the place of the traditional orange wheel on the rim of the glass. the varietals are well selected and well dosed for some citrusy bite, and i reckon they could even be scaled up a little bit more to really make this pop. most importantly though, the base hefeweizen is very good. its creamy and fresh wheaty, very pale and very dry but with the classic fluffy round swelling mouthfeel and radiant carbonation, technically speaking, its one of their better beers for sure. the hops just set it apart, make it their own, and add a cool citrus freshness to this style. the hops are awesome in here, and i think this beer will really catch on around the cities if they keep it up. i love a traditional style with a modern twist like this. drinkable forever too, look out!
