The brewer designates the beer as an Extra Special Bitter, not an American Amber/Red Ale.
L: light ruby brown permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles topped by a 1/2" beige cap with good retention.
S: Nutty malt and brown bread dominate seasoned by some tea aromas from the hops.
T: Leads with bread and nuts and finishes with an assertive, lingering bitter. Touches of fruit and the bitterness is tea like.
F: medium full body and medium to medium minus carbonation.
O: This full flavored beer is an excellent ESB and is a good beer to drink for the evening.
