one of the better beers i have had from these guys, i thought they did a great job with this. its hard to get kiwi fruit to come through in a beer, and i think it does here pretty naturally, with a mix of tang and tropical sweet, but its subtle, and works really well with the delicate clean lacto sourness they have developed in the base berliner. its bacterial and sharp, but it doesnt linger and its not too acidic throughout, making it really drinkable. meanwhile, the kiwi adds just enough sweet to balance that element, and lingering longer than anything else in the finish. i like it not being too cleaned up either, its hazy and washed out looking, white wheat sediment seems to abound in here, giving it a little more body and frothiness than most, which i think adds a nice dimension with these flavors. drier clean finish, nice job with the souring overall. even more kiwi would make this really distinct, but i like how refreshing and drinkable it is for a sour, and how honest the kiwi seems. nicely done.
