This is actually for their Cataracts: Idaho 7, which clocks in at 6.2 abv. I’m guessing Cataracts designates their NEIPA, which then varies with the hop(s), so Idaho 7 specifies the hops somehow? Anyway, this is from a 2 day crowler into a spieglau ipa glass, and it looks outstanding: chalky pale orange rind, with a nice 1 finger of creamy white head that has good retention. Nose isn’t huge, but it’s nice and brings a little orange blossom and some juicy citrus and rind. Taste follows...juicy but not too sweet (a little grassy, in fact) and also some nice gentle bitterness.

L: hazy gold blanketed by 1" of lacy white foam with good persistence
S: A citrusy fruit aroma highlighting tangerine is lightly scented by some dank, ditch weed, faint scrambled eggs and light sulfur.
T: Big citrusy fruit flavors balanced by moderate to moderately high bitterness dominate the palate.
F: soft, creamy and juicy with a medium body and carbonation
O: This is an easy to drink big, flavorful IPA
