Struggled a bit on deciding to put this in the fruit beer category or as a sour. It is described as a strawberry lactose sour, and after drinking it, decided the fruit profile is a bigger aspect of the beer than the lactic souring. Pours a hazy light brick red with a big head that goes quickly with no lace. Nose is sort of between a tangy strawberry soda and strawberry taffy with no beer, malt, yeast, or hops. The strawberry tea is also prominent in the taste. The tea and strawberry come first followed by medium lactic acidity. The lactose does contribute a slight creaminess. No beer, malt, yeast, or hops flavor. Overall, an interesting experiment that falls too far from any beer flavors and is very one-dimensional.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
