Had on tap at the brewery.

In arrival, 1 finger of fine white head was present, sitting on top of a rusty amber crystal clear body. It tries to lace, but doesn't quite.

Aroma is sweet with a backing of crisp clean lager aroma. Plenty of crystal malts here with a toasty touch.

Flavor is light for the style, compared to many American takes, but this is also relatively light compared to imported versions. Maybe this is an older batch that just kept layering in the keg? It's super duper clean so if it is old good on them, but I just want a bit more malt character instead of toffee caramel sweetness and lager character. Again it's super clean and nothing is off, I just want more. Slightly bitter, but no hop flavor, as expected.

The feel is dead on. Full, but not forgetting that this is a lager. Easy to drink with a medium long finish, amd pretty close to being a crispy boy. Definitely something I could drink spring summer fall or winter.

Overall, I want this to be a mass market almost macro beer, because the lack of depth of flavor points it that way. Not to say this beer is lacking, because it is incredibly clean, but that's its main point. The unfortunate part is that this is a marzen not a standard lager.
