16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, caramel and pine. Great grapefruit taste with some tart notes, toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

I was honestly surprised by this solid effort by Eddyline, but then I love their Epic day too. Solid grapefruit flavor without detracting from IPA characteristics. Smooth with balanced bitterness. Perfectly refreshing!

Gorgeous slightly cloudy traffic light amber, large head. Smells of grapefruit and cayenne pepper. Grapefruit taste overpowers the IPA hops but that’s fine. Cloudy, silky feel. Really good.

Solid, perhaps exceptional execution of a grapefruit IPA. Enjoyed the fresh taste from tap at BoLD Restaurant and Bar in Breckenridge. The nose and taste were exciting. I personally like a stronger hops flavor, but a great beer overall.

Poured from the can into a cold pint glass. They have changed the can paintjob and maybe that's getting in my head, but I think I like it more than the last 2 years. I remember the finish being a little harsh/burning. That's gone. Very clean. Strong smell of grapefruit. If you don't like grapefruit or strong citrus, this isn't your beer. I like it a lot. Dry but not overly bitter. No taste of ABV. Hops are noticable but not dominating compared to the grapefruit. I think it's a very drinkable IPA. Smooth and citrusy but not at all sweet. Could be mistaken for a good session, but it's not. Have to throw in there that I respect the fact that it's sold in a 6 pack not a 4 pack and in a pint can to boot. Whoever thought it was ok to sell $14 of beer in a 4 pack is a knucklehead.

I did not enjoy this beer all that much because I found it to be way to sweet due to the very forward fruit flavors. There was a good IPA underneath, but overall I felt fruit additions were too much and took away from the beer. Not really like drinking an IPA.

Not for me, but
L - Maybe the best aspect is its appearance, although it doesn't retain much head.
S - Hops, yes, but also a slightly chemical dry-mango whiff which was a little... off-putting
T - This is both good and bad, hard to treat it as an IPA when it comes across as just a double Radler (imperial?) - too much of the dry tropical fruit effect for me.
F - Solid, nothing outstanding, course a little more oomph on carbonation.
O - this is a really interesting beer and if you love tropical fruits in your bitter beer, you'll love it.
