Unfiltered and brewed with Carolina grown and malted barley. Our friends at Carolina Malt House not only make a great product they do so by sourcing their grain from the immediate surrounding area of North Carolina. A throwback to a time when ingredients were sourced locally we built this lager to let the malt shine. Notes of fresh baked bread, biscuit, and a hint of honey sweetness. Czech Saaz was added to provide a classic balanced noble floral hop character. Lagered extensively to finish crisp and clean.

Clear, golden body; very lively carbonation; relatively thin, somewhat soapy white head. Gentle malt aroma; mild sweetness. Light biscuit taste with a bit of sweetness on the edges; light to moderate hop bitterness. Relatively light body; crisp with a gentle warmth from the malt flavors.
A decent if unassuming lager, bringing a mild sweetness and gentle grain taste to the palate with a fine touch of hop bitterness to round things out.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lacy rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass, a narrow collar around the edge, and a large, thin patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy malts are present in the nose with notes of biscuit malts and hints of grassy hops. As the beer begins to warm up, hints of honey become perceptible.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of biscuit and grainy malts are more balanced and the hops also contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, clean and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an honest lager that is easy to drink and lets the aromas and flavors of malts shine through without being overly malty or that heavy on the palate.
