Appearance – Thin layer of head on a slightly hazy yellow body.

Aroma – Citrus hops, bubblegum, and a little floral. Interesting combination.

Taste – Pine, a bit resinous, with some fruity/floral notes coming in at the end. Pretty bitter.

Mouthfeel – A bit sticky but that’s OK with this one.

Overall – Almost on the level of an IPA but held back just enough. Very good.

Had this on 2017-09-04 from a 16oz can with a best buy date of 2018-03-29

A - Completely hazy speach-orange with a 1-finger white head that drops quickly leaving little lace.

S - Sweet/rich/ripe apricot, pineapple flesh, mild-moderately dank.

T - Tart mandarin orange flesh, milder apricot and pineapple than the smell, fair amount of pine, very lightly dank, peppery spice. Mild french bread malt flavor lurks far in the background. Finish is fairly bitter but with some residual fruit sweetness for balance.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Juicy and a little resinous and prickly.

O - Very enjoyable. Tons of flavor; and only 5% ABV. A winner!

Can that says best by 3/18. Pours hazy yellow/orange with a white head that leaves some lacing behind. The smell is citrus, biscuit and cracker malt, pine, and light dank. Taste is citrus forward follwed by dank and light malts finishing with pine. Feel is medium to light, kinda soft with light bitterness. Overall I really enjoyed this as my first beer of the day!

Can says something about being good until 3/18 which needs to be changed ASAP for hoppy beers; this excellent pale ale needs to be drank fresh, not aged

Taste some dankness again not much, plenty of citrus, orange, tangerine, fair juicy, lots of grapefruit pith, cracker creamy flaked malt base, fair bitterness, dry creamy finish, lingering bitterness

Mouth is creamy med bod, fluffy carb

Overall pretty nice take on NEIPA

Poured a cloudy golden color with a 2 finger head in a Spiegelau IPA. glass.

Very floral aroma, earthy, citrus( which broadens with warming)

Surprisingly smooth MF for the style.

Citrus taste which is not strong and overshadowed by the dominant wonderfully hoppy finish.
With warming, the beer broadens and more citrus comes through.

Overall, an excellent pale ale, and very drinkable with lots of flavor.

A: slight haze; pale gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: the citra is predominant, but the simcoe is noticeable as well;

T: follows the nose; a bit of citrus tartness from the middle through the finish; mild bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: it's good, but the balance is off - needs more malt character;

On-tap 4/21/2017 at Doherty’s Ale House in Warwick, RI, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, grassy hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of fruity citrus and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering grassy hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.
