750 ml bottle
Pours a cloudy orange gold color with a sudsy eggshell head. Exceptional head retention and almost no lacing to be found, as is typical of the style. Head settles into a thin blanket. Bubbles for days.
Aroma has loads of apricot, lemon zest, green apple, and pear. There's plenty of acetic acidity, with some hay and light funk.
Taste has apricot, pear, green apple skin, and lemongrass as well as Belgian yeast, damp hay and oak chips.
Feel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Crisp and dry.
Surprisingly good farmhouse ale. It's drinkable as hell with plenty of flavor. Not sure how much the barrel aging added here but it’s very good regardless.
