Clear, dark copper pour, darker in the glass; fine, dense, slow-rising carbonation; thick off-white head, dense with a rolling sculpted foam cap with a semi-creamy texture, long-lasting. Rich malt nose with a vague hint of smokiness; a bit of holiday cookie spiciness. Robust roasted malt backbone; minor sense of hop bitterness. Lager-smooth mouthfeel; full and rounded.
This well-crafted and tasty winter bock is a joy to imbibe. It does have a 'winter edge' with the slight spiciness, but I would gladly enjoy this one year-round.
ABV: 6.8%; pouring temperature: 48.2 ℉; canning info: DOGGER LAGER 11 . 19. 25

L: Pours a brilliantly clear dark red orange color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Freshly toasted bread and roasted grain mixes hints of apple and caramel and a light hop. Aroma is nice but not quite as strong as I expected.
T: Freshly toasted bread and grain mix with some sweet apple and caramel, a little hop, nice enjoyable beer.
F: Medium body, prickly carbonation.
O: Aroma could be buffed a touch but overall very enjoyable.

Thanks, Nick!
Was lucky enough to get a can of this and a barrel-aged beer from Nick after randomly meeting him in Dallas for a work trip. Really didn’t see any description for the beer.
Poured a garnet-to-reddish brown color with three fingers of khaki-tan frothy head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class uneven foamy-to-foggy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled wheat toast, nutty malts, caramel, hints of chocolate, Wheat Thins and hints of wood. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose. Super smooth. In order got wheat toast, caramel, nutty malts, cocoa, dark fruit, hints of chocolate, Wheat Thins and wood. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Such a great beer. Grew on me each sip. Slightly underrated this overall too. (Overall - 4.50)

Pours an attractive toasty brown with 2 fingers of tan head. Nose is light honey bread , taste is similar with sweet bread and honey, very little hop presence, a little watery. Drinks lighter than 6.8%. Overall an easy drinker, no flaws, but a little light for the “winter bock” label.

This was very tasty, good bread flavor and light enough to have a couple for sure, or maybe a Liter
