From the growler via The Growler Stop in a snifter. This rather nice
saison pours a lightly chill hazed amber tinged straw color with a nice
head of white dissipating foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin wispy
pool, and features nice light lacing. Nose of farmhouse yeasty goodness
that is lightly tart smelling with nice notes of subtle pineapple tossed into
the mix with sweet honey tinged malts. Flavors exceed the nose with presentation
and the all important quality of balance. Subtle balanced pineapple dances about
light cracker and honey touched malts with a healthy dose of farmhouse yeast.
Excellent mouth feel; medium spritzy carbonation, medium light body, and a
tart moderately dry finish. Overall, a successful saison from a newer Cincy brewery.

Cheers

Fairly funky barnyard notes, earthy, with a hint of pepto. Pineapple is almost non-existent.

Pepto funk upfront, with barnyard notes throughout, and a pineapple kick in the finish. Well integrated, not overwhelmingly pineapple.
