smooth bodied with a velvety finish with strong roasted notes of fresh ground coffee and dark chocolate. Sip on this while you imagine drifting through the city of Dublin! Contains lactose.

I had this beer on nitro tap at the brewery in a pub glass.
Appearance: rich dark brown color with a finger of creamy light tan foam atop. Love that nitro!
Smell: slightly sweet malt aroma with notes of coffee and chocolate. Quite nice.
Taste: rather sweet with plenty of caramelly malt and hints of chocolate. Sweet for my taste, but it is a lactose stout after all, so it’s appropriate.
Mouthfeel: rich and smooth feel from the nitro combined with plenty of body from the lactose.
Overall: like I said, a little sweet for me, but still a very nice beer.
