It's said that Unicorns had special powers to make water drinkable -- and we absolutely agree, Unicorn Dust is unconscionably smooth. Brewed with rainbow Mosaic hops giving notes of peach, blueberry, tangerine, and papaya.

The initial aromas on this are over the top ... big and fruity.
All kinds of fruit flavors. At first, I was getting a lot of citrus but that backed away as the beer warmed and I started getting a more complex assortment of flavors, more stone fruit and tropicals.
Quite delicious!

Lester,
This is my favorite of all your recipes. It is so delicious it should be a regular. Super smooth, juicy and tropical. I would make it a refrigerator beer for sure!
Although it is listed as "American IPA" it is really a New England style IPA.
Comment on 5/2021 batch: It's still very good but this batch is not so hazy or juicy

Can from lupulo.
Only 3 days old.
A: orange juice with minimal white head.
S: Tangerines, stonefruit, banana.
T: tangerines, oranges, Papaya, More tropical than citrus,
F: medium, slick, dry finish.
Overall: pretty good. I’m not sure if “rainbow mosaic hops” are a real thing, or they’re just being funny with mosaic. May actually keep an eye on barebottle in the future. I haven’t really taken them seriously thus far.

Pale yellow and cloudy body; lively carbonation; thick white head, creamy and rocky. Delicately sweet esters in the aroma; pineapple, white grapefruit, and papaya. Strong fruit flavors, citrus primarily; powdered sugar sweetness; tangy; dull hop bitterness lurking in the background; lemony. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; a bit coarse on the palate with some sharp acidic qualities; initially starts juicy but finishes with a strong dryness.
This cloudy IPA drinks relatively nice and easy while providing a decent citric bite.

Very nice IPA - grew on me as the aromas and flavors intensified as the beer warmed. 11/4/19 date printed on bottle. Pours a fairly clear, slightly hazy yellow color with some fluffy white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of ripe peach, melon, tangerine, mango, pineapple and grapefruit tropical hops. Also some malt, piney and herbal hops, vanilla and bread. Taste follows the nose, nice balance and good hit of hoppy bitterness with the sweeter malt backbone in the background. Smooth, slightly sticky, mild mouthfeel that coated the palate a little. Good carbonation. A solid beer and I would definitely try it again.

I was so pleased Barebottle revived this beer. It’s a magnificent bouquet of the best beer ingredients ever. It’s unfiltered, and beautiful! The hazy IPAs are exceptional, but this is extraordinary!

A beauty for sure like all the BARE hazies. Tropical treat to the nose with a wonderful added taste of fresh cut grass and grapefruit to dance on the tropical expression here. Love it.
