This is an exceptionally tart brew. It’s like a candy more than a beer, but it’s satisfyingly intoxicating. It reminds me of sweeTARTS, but with an extra kick!

Opaque vibrant raspberry puree red with a short pink head fading to fuzzy white wisps.
Tart, juicy currants make up most of the medium-full body that has a softly sandy fizz and a gose-like underbody. Passion fruit push pop also surfaces with a hint of vanilla cream.

Canned 10/01/18
Appearance - Pours hazy and pinkish red in color with head that quickly fizzes away as its poured, leaving a mostly barren surface with a thick ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and spotting makes up the lacing.
Smell - Tart for sure. Picking up rhubarb and berry notes, mostly.
Taste - Follows the nose. Rhubarb upfront before some berry kicks in. Passion fruit emerges as the brew warms, and shows up mid-taste. Some mouth puckering lemon notes on the finish and into the aftertaste, leaving a lasting impression.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with bitey carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - I love me some rhubarb, and despite the use of passion fruit and black currant puree, this tastes prominently like rhubarb to me. Yum.
