The most compelling stories always have a twist. A Mexican pilsner using flaked corn Viking Pilsner malt & a soft water, but with a German Style Helles twist.

On tap at the Birdhaus, served in a plastic beer cup. Pours clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. Crisp, clean, citrus, pale malt and floral hops. Light and refreshing.

Pours a clear yellow with adequate foam in the tall goblet. I'm not sure why this would be a Euro Lager as opposed to an American one. Supposed to have a sprinkling of Saaz and Crystal hops. Brief aroma of grain and cornbread.
Flavor is rather tiresome after some sipping. Corn and that odd perfumey note. No detectable bitterness, but a slight metallic aftertaste. Alas, I wouldn't call it refreshing either. It makes me think of a Blonde Ale. From the 16 oz can purchased at Healthy Spirits. Dated 07-12-21.

2019 GABF Gold winner. Very smooth-drinking Mexican lager. Nicely balanced malt and hops. Creamy but crisp. A better version of a Modelo. Drink it cold.

Smooth-bodied and creamy European lager with bountiful carbonation and a creamy white head. Straw yellow color. Grain malt bill paired with spicy, floral hops.
