Ordered from Tavour, chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: purple(ish) pink with a one finger pinkish head that dissipated quickly heaving a very small ring of foam around the glass that hung for a while.
Smell: citrus up front, sour, blueberry, blackberry. LIME... not even one of the fruits listed but stands out as THE smell
Taste: holy limes Batman!!! Th3ere is SO much lime flavor up front, then sour that you reaaaaaaly have to reach to get other flavors. Front and backend is ALL lime/citrus, then some small blackberry, blueberry, lemon... to peach and no mango... tangerine is a stretch because the lime is so overwhelming. No booze and no hop
Feel: medium to thick mouthfeel, heavy sour and a nice tickle of carbonation that hangs while it warmed.
Overall this was not a great beer. It was sour and lime, which wasn’t even listed as one of the fruits on the can. The feel is so sour that if you are into the super sour fruity movement, and you like limes, this is your beer. Not so much for us... just too much sour and too much lime to even enjoy it.
